Both\naspeed_intc1_irq_domain_activate() and aspeed_intc0_resolve_route() test a\ncompatible string with fwnode_device_is_compatible().\n\nfwnode_device_is_compatible() invokes fwnode_property_match_string(), which\nallocates with GFP_KERNEL. That's obviously not possible with interrupts\ndisabled and a raw spinlock held.\n\nBoth call sites are only ever handed OF nodes, so use\nof_device_is_compatible() instead: it walks the property in place and does\nnot allocate."}],"affected":[{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"unaffected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["drivers/irqchip/irq-ast2700-intc0.c","drivers/irqchip/irq-ast2700-intc1.c"],"versions":[{"version":"07825e41519abb8ac13d6d1c553af47f57775f6b","lessThan":"f2f0da11648616e47419dca93610f6c0d70ec00b","status":"affected","versionType":"git"},{"version":"07825e41519abb8ac13d6d1c553af47f57775f6b","lessThan":"b76eee9c2157223aa4aac42ceebb563288e078aa","status":"affected","versionType":"git"}]},{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"affected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["drivers/irqchip/irq-ast2700-intc0.c","drivers/irqchip/irq-ast2700-intc1.c"],"versions":[{"version":"7.2","status":"affected"},{"version":"0","lessThan":"7.2","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.2.6","lessThanOrEqual":"7.2.*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.3-rc1","lessThanOrEqual":"*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"original_commit_for_fix"}]}],"cpeApplicability":[{"nodes":[{"operator":"OR","negate":false,"cpeMatch":[{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"7.2","versionEndExcluding":"7.2.6"},{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"7.2","versionEndExcluding":"7.3-rc1"}]}]}],"references":[{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f2f0da11648616e47419dca93610f6c0d70ec00b"},{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b76eee9c2157223aa4aac42ceebb563288e078aa"}],"title":"irqchip/ast2700-intc: Avoid allocating in the irq_domain activate() callback","x_generator":{"engine":"bippy-1.2.0"}}}}
