The return value\nwas assigned directly to isp->remote_src and dereferenced in the\nnext line without checking for errors, which could lead to an\nERR_PTR dereference.\n\nAdd proper error checking with IS_ERR() before dereferencing the\npointer. Also set isp->remote_src to NULL on error to maintain\nconsistency with other error paths in the function."}],"affected":[{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"unaffected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["drivers/media/platform/arm/mali-c55/mali-c55-isp.c"],"versions":[{"version":"d5f281f3dd2988998daf45f591920c6013a620d8","lessThan":"65d4424275845e9f9012b40b5cbff4572771d768","status":"affected","versionType":"git"},{"version":"d5f281f3dd2988998daf45f591920c6013a620d8","lessThan":"94c6402e423d36a2bd6f62055a65a0d439d84da7","status":"affected","versionType":"git"}]},{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"affected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["drivers/media/platform/arm/mali-c55/mali-c55-isp.c"],"versions":[{"version":"6.19","status":"affected"},{"version":"0","lessThan":"6.19","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.1.6","lessThanOrEqual":"7.1.*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.2","lessThanOrEqual":"*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"original_commit_for_fix"}]}],"cpeApplicability":[{"nodes":[{"operator":"OR","negate":false,"cpeMatch":[{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"6.19","versionEndExcluding":"7.1.6"},{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"6.19","versionEndExcluding":"7.2"}]}]}],"references":[{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/65d4424275845e9f9012b40b5cbff4572771d768"},{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/94c6402e423d36a2bd6f62055a65a0d439d84da7"}],"title":"media: mali-c55: Fix possible ERR_PTR in enable_streams","x_generator":{"engine":"bippy-1.2.0"}}}}
