A concrete inner array with a different max_entries\nvalue can then replace the template.\n\nAfter a successful outer map lookup, the verifier represents the\nresulting map pointer using the inner map template. Const-key lookup\nnullness elision consequently uses the template max_entries even though\nthe runtime helper uses the concrete inner map max_entries.\n\nDo not elide lookup result nullness for maps marked with BPF_F_INNER_MAP,\nbecause the template max_entries does not prove that the key is in bounds\nfor the concrete runtime map."}],"affected":[{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"unaffected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["kernel/bpf/verifier.c"],"versions":[{"version":"d2102f2f5d75a84dbab6ff890359f0bd4a18ca22","lessThan":"0b92ad64d6e4bde85e6b9888404f9a7a2b65d269","status":"affected","versionType":"git"},{"version":"d2102f2f5d75a84dbab6ff890359f0bd4a18ca22","lessThan":"d57db0d975053e01410c54e708a85b6d32ef2ebd","status":"affected","versionType":"git"},{"version":"d2102f2f5d75a84dbab6ff890359f0bd4a18ca22","lessThan":"53040a81ae57cdca8af8ac36fe4e661730cf7c6b","status":"affected","versionType":"git"}]},{"product":"Linux","vendor":"Linux","defaultStatus":"affected","repo":"https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git","programFiles":["kernel/bpf/verifier.c"],"versions":[{"version":"6.14","status":"affected"},{"version":"0","lessThan":"6.14","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"6.18.40","lessThanOrEqual":"6.18.*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.1.4","lessThanOrEqual":"7.1.*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"},{"version":"7.2","lessThanOrEqual":"*","status":"unaffected","versionType":"original_commit_for_fix"}]}],"cpeApplicability":[{"nodes":[{"operator":"OR","negate":false,"cpeMatch":[{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"6.14","versionEndExcluding":"6.18.40"},{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"6.14","versionEndExcluding":"7.1.4"},{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:o:linux:linux_kernel:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionStartIncluding":"6.14","versionEndExcluding":"7.2"}]}]}],"references":[{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0b92ad64d6e4bde85e6b9888404f9a7a2b65d269"},{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d57db0d975053e01410c54e708a85b6d32ef2ebd"},{"url":"https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/53040a81ae57cdca8af8ac36fe4e661730cf7c6b"}],"title":"bpf: Keep dynamic inner array lookups nullable","x_generator":{"engine":"bippy-1.2.0"}}}}
