Prior to 2.63.14, it does not stop the HTTP file handlers from following symbolic links before they open, serve, write, share, or list a file. As a result, a scoped user — and in some cases an unauthenticated public-share recipient — can cross the intended scope boundary by following a symlink whose path is lexically inside their scope but whose target is outside it. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.63.14."}],"source":{"advisory":"GHSA-239w-m3h6-ch8v","discovery":"UNKNOWN"}},"adp":[{"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/filebrowser/filebrowser/security/advisories/GHSA-239w-m3h6-ch8v","tags":["exploit"]}],"metrics":[{"other":{"type":"ssvc","content":{"timestamp":"2026-06-25T18:41:21.135107Z","id":"CVE-2026-54094","options":[{"Exploitation":"poc"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","version":"2.0.3"}}}],"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment","providerMetadata":{"orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP","dateUpdated":"2026-06-25T18:42:35.721Z"}}]}}
