From 3.4.0 to before 3.4.9, a missing bounds check on the dataWindow attribute in EXR file headers allows an attacker to trigger a signed integer overflow in generic_unpack(). By setting dataWindow.min.x to a large negative value, OpenEXRCore computes an enormous image width, which is later used in a signed integer multiplication that overflows, causing the process to terminate with SIGILL via UBSan. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.4.9."}],"source":{"advisory":"GHSA-v76p-4qvv-vh4g","discovery":"UNKNOWN"}},"adp":[{"metrics":[{"other":{"type":"ssvc","content":{"timestamp":"2026-04-06T15:33:07.546592Z","id":"CVE-2026-34378","options":[{"Exploitation":"poc"},{"Automatable":"no"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","version":"2.0.3"}}}],"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment","providerMetadata":{"orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP","dateUpdated":"2026-04-06T16:17:58.565Z"}}]}}
