Prior to version 2.3.4, the nginx-ui configuration improperly handles URL-encoded traversal sequences. When specially crafted paths are supplied, the backend resolves them to the base Nginx configuration directory and executes the operation on the base directory (/etc/nginx). In particular, this allows an authenticated user to remove the entire /etc/nginx directory, resulting in a partial Denial of Service. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.4."}],"source":{"advisory":"GHSA-m8p8-53vf-8357","discovery":"UNKNOWN"}},"adp":[{"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/0xJacky/nginx-ui/security/advisories/GHSA-m8p8-53vf-8357","tags":["exploit"]}],"metrics":[{"other":{"type":"ssvc","content":{"timestamp":"2026-03-30T18:37:15.335473Z","id":"CVE-2026-33027","options":[{"Exploitation":"poc"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","version":"2.0.3"}}}],"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment","providerMetadata":{"orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP","dateUpdated":"2026-03-30T18:37:18.224Z"}}]}}
