This is due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied input via the 'id' GET parameter in the user profile template combined with the use of wp_unslash() which removes WordPress's magic quotes protection, followed by direct concatenation into a SQL query without proper escaping or prepared statements in the qa_user_profile_card() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into existing queries, which can be used to extract sensitive information from the database."}],"title":"PickPlugins Question Answer <= 1.2.73 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via 'id' Parameter","references":[{"url":"https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/178e2537-e900-4264-9b29-1bb5bac36f48?source=cve"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/question-answer/trunk/templates/user-profile/user-profile-hook.php#L98"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/question-answer/tags/1.2.73/templates/user-profile/user-profile-hook.php#L98"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/question-answer/trunk/templates/user-profile/user-profile.php#L6"},{"url":"https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/question-answer/tags/1.2.73/templates/user-profile/user-profile.php#L6"}],"problemTypes":[{"descriptions":[{"lang":"en","description":"CWE-89 Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')","cweId":"CWE-89","type":"CWE"}]}],"metrics":[{"cvssV3_1":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","baseScore":7.5,"baseSeverity":"HIGH"}}],"credits":[{"lang":"en","type":"finder","value":"Adam Rayyan Aryasatya"}],"timeline":[{"time":"2026-07-27T21:29:31.000Z","lang":"en","value":"Disclosed"}]},"adp":[{"metrics":[{"other":{"type":"ssvc","content":{"timestamp":"2026-07-28T13:29:05.819244Z","id":"CVE-2026-10207","options":[{"Exploitation":"none"},{"Automatable":"yes"},{"Technical Impact":"partial"}],"role":"CISA Coordinator","version":"2.0.3"}}}],"title":"CISA ADP Vulnrichment","providerMetadata":{"orgId":"134c704f-9b21-4f2e-91b3-4a467353bcc0","shortName":"CISA-ADP","dateUpdated":"2026-07-28T13:29:13.988Z"}}]}}
