A low-privileged authenticated customer API caller can retrieve the private keys of their own domains' certificates, including Let's Encrypt keys that Froxlor generates server-side and stores root-only (0600) and to which the customer otherwise has no filesystem access; reseller and customers_see_all admin accounts can dump the private keys of other principals through the same sink. Disclosed keys enable domain impersonation, passive decryption of captured TLS traffic, and active machine-in-the-middle attacks."}],"problemTypes":[{"descriptions":[{"lang":"en","description":"Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor","cweId":"CWE-200","type":"CWE"}]}],"affected":[{"vendor":"froxlor","product":"froxlor","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","versionType":"semver","lessThan":"2.3.13"},{"version":"2.3.13","status":"unaffected","versionType":"semver"}]}],"cpeApplicability":[{"nodes":[{"operator":"OR","negate":false,"cpeMatch":[{"vulnerable":true,"criteria":"cpe:2.3:a:froxlor:froxlor:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*","versionEndExcluding":"2.3.13"}]}]}],"metrics":[{"format":"CVSS","cvssV4_0":{"version":"4.0","vectorString":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","attackRequirements":"NONE","privilegesRequired":"LOW","userInteraction":"NONE","vulnConfidentialityImpact":"HIGH","vulnIntegrityImpact":"LOW","vulnAvailabilityImpact":"NONE","subConfidentialityImpact":"NONE","subIntegrityImpact":"NONE","subAvailabilityImpact":"NONE","baseScore":7.1,"baseSeverity":"HIGH"}},{"format":"CVSS","cvssV3_1":{"version":"3.1","vectorString":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N","attackVector":"NETWORK","attackComplexity":"LOW","privilegesRequired":"LOW","userInteraction":"NONE","scope":"UNCHANGED","confidentialityImpact":"HIGH","integrityImpact":"LOW","availabilityImpact":"NONE","baseScore":7.1,"baseSeverity":"HIGH"}}],"references":[{"url":"https://github.com/froxlor/froxlor/security/advisories/GHSA-6q2v-jjq5-m2c8","tags":["vendor-advisory"],"name":"GitHub Security Advisory (GHSA-6q2v-jjq5-m2c8)"},{"name":"VulnCheck Advisory: Froxlor before 2.3.13 Private Key Disclosure via Certificates API","tags":["third-party-advisory"],"url":"https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/froxlor-before-2.3.13-private-key-disclosure-via-certificates-api"}],"credits":[{"lang":"en","value":"manus-use","type":"reporter"}],"x_generator":{"engine":"vulncheck-endgame"}}}}
