the same score.\nS:U - The out-of-bounds access and its consequences are confined to the kernel's own memory and the JFS allocation map; no VM, IOMMU, or sandbox boundary is crossed.\nC:H - `dbSplit()`/`dbBackSplit()`/`dbJoin()` index a page-sized metapage at an attacker-chosen 32-bit byte offset, an unbounded out-of-bounds read of kernel memory whose value observably steers subsequent allocation decisions and thus can be inferred.\nI:H - The corrupted index propagates into the computed block number and the buddy-split updates, corrupting the allocation map and permitting overlapping block allocation; on kernels lacking the later `dbAdjTree()` bound check the same index produces a controlled out-of-bounds write via `tp->dmt_stree[leafno + dmt_leafidx] = newval`.\nA:H - The wild read up to ~4 GB beyond the metapage readily faults on unmapped memory, producing a kernel oops/panic, and the guarded variants hit WARN_ON_ONCE (fatal with panic_on_warn) plus filesystem
